LOWRY PHOTOGRAPHY

I'm Jackie - born in England, and emigrated to New Zealand at 19. Married to Kim, between us we have a daughter and four sons we raised along with a menagerie of pet lambs, calves, pigs, dogs, cats, ducks, chickens and even a few peacocks and a Pukeko on a delightful lifestyle block in Central Hawkes Bay with the Tukipo river running through it where they all learned to swim.

I was given my first ever camera as a "well-done for passing your school exams" pressie from my parents

- it was a miniature 110mm Pentax - and I treasured it!! 

When our kids were little, I loved capturing their characters, their antics and their rapidly changing lives on film- and over the years, filled many photo albums with wonderful memories. Digital photography was an exciting new technology - and I was thrilled to win a new digital zoom camera as first prize in a local newspaper competition with a photo of one of the boys. I don't know how many thousand sports photos I took from the sidelines over the years.....and working with EPIC Youth Charitable Trust provided a great platform for event & portrait photography with endless opportunities with eager subjects at youth events and camps, birthdays, engagements, weddings - and now I am photographing their businesses, their babies and family portraits too!!

I'm excited to be directing a much greater professional focus to my photography these days, and am stoked to be able to capture special moments for other people to treasure with their own families and friends, alongside creative commercial projects, community key events and dignitary visits, and Kim and I work together showcasing Real Estate for best presentation of properties for marketing.

I have served as a volunteer baby memorial photographer with Heartfelt NZ, on call to bereaved families since 2018. 

We provide landscape and fine art images for personal wall art or for commercial projects.
